'Hilarious, touching and wrenching in all its honesty'

- Arts Hub -

Buried at Sea invites you on an intimate journey with the playwright, as he strives to discover the life of his Great Great Uncle, George Edward Bradford, who fought and died at Gallipoli.

Take a trip through time, nostalgia and romance, exploring the nuances of the imagination. How far can you reach into the past before you lose sight of the present?

'A new perspective to our nostalgia for the ANZACs and their stories' - Stage Whispers.

Buried at Sea is a one-man show interweaving ancestry, letters, songs and storytelling.

Following its premiere season at the Brisbane Anywhere Festival in 2016, Buried at Sea performed to critical acclaim at the Melbourne Fringe, Adelaide Fringe and to a sell-out crowd in The Snowy Mountains in NSW.

To culminate the show's journey, Buried at Sea performed two final shows at Forbes Town Hall in 2018, the home town of Mark's Great Great Uncle George.
