Forbes Town Hall
Having performed to critical acclaim in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and the Snowy Mountains, Buried at Sea is set to play its final show at Forbes Town Hall this April.
Inspired by the life of Forbes Digger, George Edward Bradford, who fought and died at Gallipoli in 1915.
‘Buried at Sea’ invites you on an intimate journey with the playwright, as he strives to discover the life of his Great Great Uncle George.
'A new perspective to our nostalgia for the ANZACs and their stories' - Stage Whispers.
Buried at Sea is a one-man show interweaving ancestry, letters, songs and storytelling.
Take a trip through time, nostalgia and romance, exploring the nuances of the imagination. Featuring familiar songs of the era, such as ‘Pack Up Your Troubles’, ‘Let Me Call You Sweetheart’ and ‘Oh, You Beautiful Doll’.
How far can you reach into the past before you lose sight of the present?
